According to the literature, the hosts are Pinus sylvestris, P. nigra and P. maritima. All records in Slovenia are the result of trapping with different attractants. Xylomycetophagous species with annual generation, swarming from April to June. The tunnel system is forked, consisting of a borehole branching into 2-4 maternal galleries.
