Ecology and presence in Slovenia

The species is found in the Mediterranean, the Balkans, Ukraine, Crimea, the Caucasus, North Africa and Asia. In Slovenia, there is a single record from a trap in the Port of Koper (Figure 63). Hosts: Pistacia atlantica, P. lentiscus, P. mutica, P. terebinthus, P. vera and P. perera, less frequently also Lotinus spp., Olea europaea, Pinus spp. and Acer spp.. Adult length is 1.8-2.2 mm, body is black with brown hairs.
