Ecology and presence in Slovenia
A Mediterranean species found in France, Italy, Spain, North Africa and Asia Minor. In Slovenia it was found only once, in the Slovene part of Istria (Rižana, 1972), on Spartium junceum (Figure 50). According to literature, hosts include Calicotoma spinosa, C. villosa, Spartium junceum, Genista horrida, G. numidica, G. scorpius, Lygos monosperma, L. raetam and L. sphaerocarpa. Imago measures 0.8‒1.3 mm in length.
